3. Intellectual property

The texts, images and logos on this website belong to Wattsio unless stated otherwise. Reproduction without permission is prohibited. The website uses the Inter typeface, distributed under the SIL Open Font License.

4. Privacy policy

This section explains what personal data Wattsio receives through this website, why, who it is shared with, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights.

4.1 Controller

Wattsio SARL, at the contact details in section 1. For any question about your data: contact@wattsio.com.

4.2 Data we receive

• Contact form: request type, name, company (optional), email address, phone (optional), site type, number of chargers, installation city, message, the language of the page used and, if you tick the box provided, your agreement to receive our information emails.
• Direct contact: the information you give us when you email us, call us or contact us on WhatsApp.
• Technical data: when you visit the website, your browser sends your IP address and technical information (browser type, page requested) to our hosting provider, which is needed to display the pages.

We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include any in the message field.

4.3 Why we use this data

• to respond to your request (quote, platform demo, partnership or other question);
• to assess your project and, where relevant, prepare a quote and follow up the business relationship;
• to send you commercial information by email, only if you have agreed to it (see 4.7).

4.4 Who receives your data

• The Wattsio team handling your request.
• Web3Forms, the service that delivers the website form to our mailbox. According to its own documents, Web3Forms is operated by Web3Creative from India and relies on providers including Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare, Hetzner and spam-filtering services (CleanTalk, Akismet); their list and locations are published in its data processing agreement and privacy policy.
• Our email provider, which hosts the contact@wattsio.com mailbox.
• Netlify, our hosting provider, for the technical data described in 4.2 only.
• Our partner installers, only after you have confirmed your project, and only the information needed for the installation.

If you choose to contact us on WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Instagram, those services' own terms and privacy policies apply to those conversations.

We do not sell your data.

4.5 Transfers outside Tunisia

Data sent through the form is processed by Web3Forms and its providers outside Tunisia. Web3Forms' documentation mentions servers in the United States and infrastructure that may operate in several regions. Netlify also processes technical data outside Tunisia.

4.6 Retention periods

• Enquiries that do not lead to business (no accepted quote or business relationship): 12 months after our last exchange, then deleted from our mailbox.
• Enquiries that lead to an order or contract: for the duration of the business relationship, then for as long as our legal obligations, including accounting obligations, require.
• Agreement to information emails: until you withdraw it.

Copy at Web3Forms: each request sent through the form is also kept in our Web3Forms account. We have set this account so that these copies are deleted automatically after 30 days.

4.7 Commercial emails

Wattsio may send information about its chargers, platform and services by email, only to people who have agreed by ticking the box provided for this in the contact form. The box is not ticked by default and is not required to send a request.

Unsubscribing: you can withdraw your agreement at any time by writing to contact@wattsio.com with the subject "Unsubscribe". We then stop sending you these emails; this does not affect how we handle your requests.

4.8 Security

The website is served over HTTPS and the form is sent over HTTPS.

4.9 Your rights

Tunisian Organic Law No. 2004-63 of 27 July 2004 on the protection of personal data provides, in particular, a right of access to your data, a right to have inaccurate data corrected or deleted, and a right to object. You can object at any time to the use of your data for commercial purposes and withdraw your agreement to commercial emails.

To exercise these rights, write to contact@wattsio.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We reply within one month.

You can also contact the Tunisian National Authority for the Protection of Personal Data (Instance nationale de protection des données à caractère personnel, INPDP) in Tunis.

4.10 Cookies and analytics

This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or advertising tools. Fonts are hosted on our own website.

If we ever add an analytics tool or a non-essential cookie, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for your agreement first.

4.11 External links

The website links to LinkedIn, Instagram and WhatsApp. These services are only contacted if you click those links, and their own policies apply.

4.12 Changes

We may update this policy. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
